Getting smart with art by Candice Clayton:

Art Cart is gearing up to roll into another year of learning, creating, and fun!! We have a few new mom volunteers helping us this year. Welcome, and get ready for an ARTFUL adventure! Hats off to all our returning moms and dads who have been a tremendous help to our program. Without our dedicated art moms and dads, the art cart could not roll into the classroom. Thanks to all parents who continue to support the art cart program in and out of the classroom. We have already started rolling into some classrooms with the artist Wassilly Kadinsky and print of Several Circles, no. 323. Next month, our artist will be Leon Bellefleur and his print Fish in the City.

We will be making portfolios for the classroom so that each student will have a place to collect and keep their artwork for the year. Please continue to encourage your child's appreciation for the arts!! Though we may not all be artist we can all appreciate art and it's many adventures!!
